The Menu Vinyl Soundtrack from Waxwork Records
Between Hereditary, Color Out of Space, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Colin Stetson is becoming one of the most effective composers in the horror genre. His latest score for The Menu is coming to vinyl from Waxwork Records.
The album is pressed on 180-gram splatter colored vinyl. It’s housed in a gatefold jacket with matte satin coating featuring artwork by Matt Needle and a 12×12 art pint. Scheduled to ship in February, it costs $30.
Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla Figures from Mezco Toyz
Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla introduced Mechagodzilla and King Caesar to the Godzilla franchise in 1974, and Mezco Toyz is releasing a 5 Points XL toy set featuring all three kaiju in July 2023. It’s available to pre-order for $60.
Godzilla has two interchangeable heads, attachable heat ray FX, and display base. Mechagodzilla has two interchangeable heads, two interchangeable finger missile hands, two attachable space beam FX, cross attack beam FX, and display base. King Caesar has two interchangeable heads, attachable prism eye FX, and display base.
Pennywise Doll from Trick or Treat Studios
Trick or Treat Studios has revealed a Pennywise premium scale doll that stands a whopping 50″ (that’s over 4 feet tall!). First announced at Toy Fair earlier this year, it’s now available to pre-order for $699.99.
Sculpted by Mark Anthony, the doll is based on Bill Skarsgård’s portrayal of the evil clown in 2017’s IT. It’s made of soft flexible foam surrounding an industrial-strength poseable aluminum frame. Shipping is estimated to begin in May 2023.
Dredd Vinyl Soundtrack from Mondo
Dredd’s original motion picture soundtrack is available on vinyl via Mondo. The double-LP album is pressed on 140-gram “Dread” and “Slo-Mo” colored wax.
The score is composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Cyberpunk 2077). A bonus disc with remixes by Morgan, John Tejada, P.T. Adamczyk, and Mogwai as well as piano reinterpretations by Morgan is included.
The soundtrack housed in a jacket featuring art by Luke Preece, and the first pressing includes a gold foil slipcase. Priced at $45, it’s expected to ship in January.
