Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products released each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.
Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!
Michael Myers Action Figures from Trick or Treat Studios
Trick or Treat Studios has revealed Michael Myers action figures based on his appearances in Halloween II and Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers. The company previously released toys from Halloween, Halloween 4, Halloween 5, and Halloween (2018).
Halloween II Michael includes two interchangeable heads (one with blood tears), six interchangeable hands (one with attached scalpel), syringe, knife, hammer, and opening jack-o-lantern. Halloween 6 Michael comes with five interchange hands, knife, axe, and light-up jack-o-lantern.
Each 1:6 scale figure stands approximately 12″ tall and has 30+ points of articulation. They’re packaged in window boxes with opening flaps. Priced at $199.99, shipping is estimated to begin November 7.
The Thing Print from Hero Complex Gallery
Aaron Lea designed The Thing artwork in the style of vintage book and record sets. Not only is the design beautiful, but I love the attention to detail, like the Carpenter Records logo and the Adrienne Barbeau narration. Following its debut at Monsterpalooza last weekend, 12×12 giclee prints, limited to 70, can be purchased for $35 via Hero Complex Gallery. A textless variant is also available, along with a similar Escape from New York piece by Lea.
A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 Shirt from Alternate Ending
A new horror clothing company called Alternate Ending has launched a Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge line featuring Japanese-inspired designs. I’m a sucker for a good sleeve print, and this long-sleeve shirt delivers with bus/glove combination on one side and “The Man of Your Dreams Is Back!” on the other. It costs $36 and will ship in 4-6 weeks. T-shirts, sweatpants, and hats are also available.
Godzilla & Mechagodzilla Action Figures from Super 7
Super 7 has revealed its second wave of Toho Ultimates, which consists of Godzilla (based on his appearance in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah) and Mechagodzilla (based on its appearance in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II). Expected to ship in Summer 2023, they’re available to pre-order for $85 each.
Godzilla measures 8″ tall and 14″ long. It comes with two interchangeable heads, six interchangeable hands, and four attachable smoke effects. Mechagodzilla stands 9″ tall and includes three interchangeable heads, four interchangeable hands, alternate stomach plate, Garuda Jet, two forearm tasers, and two attachable jet thruster effects.
The Lighthouse Print from Vanessa McKee
Vanessa McKee (wife of May director Lucky McKee) captures the cosmic, black-and-white beauty of Robert Eggers’ The Lighthouse with her latest artwork. 8×10 prints on watercolor paper, signed by the artist, are available for $30. The original 9×12 watercolor painting is also up for grabs for $600.
