Leonardo as Creature from the Black Lagoon Figure from NECA
Leonardo as Creature from the Black Lagoon will join NECA’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Universal Monsters toy line in January. Pre-order are up for $34.99.
Packed to the gills with accessories, the 7” scale action figure comes with six interchangeable hands, two harpoon katanas, attachable wrist bone blade, and turtle. It’s packaged in a window box with opening flap featuring art by Daniel Horne.
This is the line’s eighth release, following Raphael as Frankenstein, Leonardo as Ygor, Michelangelo as The Mummy, April as Bride of Frankenstein, Splinter as Van Helsing, Donatello as The Invisible Man, and Casey Jones as The Phantom.
The Boogens 4K UHD from Kino Lorber
The Boogens will be reawakened on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on January 30 via Kino Lorber. The 1981 monster movie has been newly mastered in 4k from the 35mm original camera negative with HDR/Dolby Vision as well as 5.1 Surround and Lossless 2.0 audio.
James L. Conway (Charmed) directs from a script by David O’Malley (Fatal Instinct) and Jim Kouf (National Treasure, Rush Hour). Rebecca Balding, Fred McCarren, Anne-Marie Martin, Jeff Harlan, John Crawford, Med Flory, and Jon Lormer star.
Extras include a new commentary by Harlan and film historian Howard S. Berger; a commentary with Conway, O’Malley, and Balding; a featurette on creature designer William Munns; the trailer; and two TV spots. It features reversible artwork – with a pull-quote from Stephen King!
The Last of Us Prints from Suspiria Land
Horror artist Suspiria Vilchez is currently battling cancer, but she fearlessly continues to create beautiful work. These two The Last of Us prints are each limited to 15 for $23, with all proceeds going toward the treatment costs for a fellow cancer patient, Lacey Delgado.
Demonic Toys: Jack-Attack Blu-ray from Full Moon Features
Demonic Toys: Jack-Attack wants to play on Blu-ray on January 16 via Full Moon Features. It’s billed as a “sidebar sequel” in the Demonic Toys franchise.
William Butler (Madhouse, Gingerdead Man 3) writes and directs. Sofia Castellanos, Mabel Thomas, Donna Steele, Tim Novotny, Maddie Small, Tari Lyn Bergoine, and Xavier Dellinger star. Charles Band (Puppet Master, Ghoulies) produces.
A behind-the-scenes featurette is included along with previous VideoZone featurettes for Demonic Toys, Dollman vs. Demonic Toys, and Baby Oopsie.
BloodRayne 4K UHD from Massacre Video
BloodRayne will be released on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on January 9 via Massacre Video. The 2005 action-horror video game adaptation has been newly scanned in 4K from the uncut original negatives with HDR and uncompressed PCM Audio.
Uwe Boll (House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark) directs from a script by Guinevere Turner (American Psycho). Kristanna Loken, Michelle Rodriguez, and Ben Kingsley star with Michael Madsen, Matthew Davis, Geraldine Chaplin, Will Sanderson, Udo Kier, Billy Zane, Meat Loaf, and Michael Paré.
Boll recorded a new audio commentary for the release. Other special features include: cast and crew interviews; deleted and extended scenes; behind the scenes featurette; CGI making-of featurette; and Dinner with Uwe Boll.
Terrifier 2 VHS from Witter Entertainment

The standard black clamshell case with art by Creepy Duck Design has been restocked ($30). Also available are the last remaining quantities of the big box with art by Sam Coyne and an orange VHS ($50) as well as the Art Crispies book-style big box with a flip-open cover and a red VHS ($55).
Each tape includes exclusive introductions by writer-director Damien Leone and actors David Howard Thornton, Lauren LaVera, and Elliott Fullam. For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame. It’s officially licensed from Cineverse/Screambox and has been approved by Leone.
