Taking “Classes”
After celebrating 2021 last week with a recap and blooper reel, we’re closing out the year by teaming up with the folks over at Kill By Kill to discuss Kevin Tenney‘s bromance-y supernatural horror film Witchboard!
In the film, Linda (Tawny Kitaen) becomes entranced into using her friend Brandon’s (Stephen Nichols) Ouija board alone after it was accidentally left behind at her party. She then becomes terrorized by an evil spirit who is hellbent on using her body to go on a mass killing spree. Roped into the conflict is Linda’s boyfriend (and Brandon’s former best friend/possible lover) Jim (Todd Allen), who just wants to play pranks on Linda for no discernible reason.

Episode 158 – Witchboard (1986)
Turn on the Plot Broadcasting Network, grab your carpenter’s hatchet and check for that secret figure 8 symbol because we’re discussing Kevin Tenney’s debut feature Witchboard (1986)! Joining us for the discussion are the dynamic duo of Patrick and Gena from Kill By Kill!
Join us for the rare episode in which Joe is crude and Trace is a prude as we go all in on the sexual chemistry between the film’s straight male protagonists Jim (Todd Allen) and Brandon (Stephen Nichols) before lamenting Tawny Kitaen’s lack of chemistry with either of them.
Plus, bizarre pregnancy symptoms, the glory that is Kathleen Wilhoite’s Zarabeth and her fringe, bullet hole-riddled Ouija boards and a fun game of “Choose Your Own Deathventure”!
Cross out Witchboard!
