The cast for Sam Raimi-produced Boy Kills World continues to fill out, with Deadline reporting that Famke Janssen (The Postcard Killings) and Sharlto Copley (District 9) have signed on.
Additionally, Brett Gelman (Stranger Things), Quinn Copeland (Peacock’s Punky Brewster) and twins Cameron and Nicholas Crovetti (Big Little Lies) have also come on board.
Famke Janssen and Sharlto Copley are two of the film’s antagonists.
Happy Death Day star Jessica Rothe is part of an ensemble cast that includes the previously announced Bill Skarsgård (IT), Yayan Ruhian (John Wick 3, The Raid: Redemption), Andrew Koji (Warrior, Snake Eyes) and Isaiah Mustafa (It: Chapter Two).
Moritz Mohr is directing the movie, written by Arend Remmers (Sløborn) and Tyler Burton Smith (Kung Fury: The Movie). Boy Kills World is said to be a “one-of-a-kind action spectacle set in a dystopian fever dream reality.”
“Boy (Skarsgård) is a deaf-mute with a vibrant imagination. When his family is murdered, Boy escapes to the jungle and is trained by a mysterious shaman to repress his childish imagination and become an instrument of death.”
Sam Raimi is producing the film alongside Roy Lee.
