Everything moves so fast these days that it’s almost hard to believe Netflix’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre was released just four months ago, as it feels like it’s been a whole lot longer. The film operated as a sequel to Tobe Hooper’s original classic, with Mark Burnham playing an older version of slasher icon Leatherface than we’ve ever seen before on the screen.
Like the previous iterations of the character, Burnham’s Leatherface is getting an action figure, with Hiya Toys putting a Leatherface 2022 figure up for pre-order this week.
The 1/18 scale action figure stands just 4.72″ tall, including 1 pair of interchangeable hands and featuring 15 points of articulation. Of course, a bloody chainsaw is also included.
You can pre-order the figure for $19.99 from Entertainment Earth today.
The Hiya Toys figure is expected to release in April 2023.
In the film, “After nearly 50 years of hiding, Leatherface returns to terrorize a group of idealistic young friends who accidentally disrupt his carefully shielded world in a remote Texas town.”
