VR game developer Survios and 20th Century Games are teaming up to bring fans a new action-horror title set in the Alien universe for PC, consoles and VR. Details regarding the project will be revealed at the ALIEN: Expanding a Dark and Frightening Universe panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 21, 2022.
Survios is no stranger to dealing with movie and television IPs, having developed titles such as The Walking Dead Onslaught (which is available on Steam, PSVR and Oculus), Westworld Awakening and more. They’ve also developed several titles using their own IPs.
“When I joined Survios in 2020, it was to build bigger, more ambitious games, using the best entertainment franchises across console, PC, and VR platforms,” said TQ Jefferson, Chief Product Officer at Survios. “Aliens is a distinct and terrifying world that fans love to be entrenched in, and it is perfect for Survios’ proven expertise in creating immersive gaming experiences.”
