With Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment’s A Plague Tale: Requiem arriving next month, the devs have released a new story trailer for the game that elaborates on Amicia and Hugo’s journey.
After escaping their devastated homeland, A Plague Tale: Requiem sees Amicia and Hugo traveling south to new regions and vibrant cities. There, they attempt to start a new life and control Hugo’s curse. But when Hugo’s powers reawaken, death and destruction return in a flood of devouring rats. Forced to flee once more, the siblings place their hopes in a prophesied island that may hold the key to saving Hugo from his blood curse.
The siblings find themselves having to rely on the help of the people they meet. Walking into foreign territory, the young de Runes are unlikely to make it alone… but how much trust can they place in strangers?
A Plague Tale: Requiem releases October 18 on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, PC via Steam, and in a Cloud Version for the Nintendo Switch. The game will also be available Day One with Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC, and Cloud. Pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition of Requiem are also live, along with the art book.
