A “grimy, brutal take on the 70s action thriller”, Eric Boccio‘s Night of the Bastard is now in select theaters and on VOD platforms from Dark Sky Films.
In the film, a recluse’s desert solitude is shattered when an injured woman turns up in the middle of the night and a band of cultists surrounds his home.
Here’s an exclusive look at the film…
With the house surrounded by cult members, we see Kiera (Mya Hudson – A Wall Away, upcoming F*ck, Kill Mary) trying to close her nasty stab wound with the only tool on hand – a staple gun. When she literally can’t pull the trigger, a reluctant Reed (London May – The Dark Knight Rises, Verotika) helps her – if only to stop her from bleeding all over his couch.
