We’ve been tracking this week’s new releases all week long, with four horror movies debuting on Tuesday and two more debuting on Thursday. Believe it or not, we’re still not done.
Here are four more new horror movies released today, February 10, 2023!

First up, director Erik Bloomquist (Ten Minutes to Midnight, Long Lost) is back with She Came from the Woods, an ’80s-set summer camp slasher movie that’s now playing in theaters.
We don’t yet have a home video release date, but we expect one soon.
She Came from the Woods follows “a group of counsellors who accidentally unleash an ancient evil spirit on the last night of a summer camp. As the situation turns bloody, the group is forced to confront what stories are worth telling and what secrets are worth keeping.”
She Came from the Woods stars Cara Buono (“Stranger Things”, “Mad Men”), William Sadler (Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, Demon Knight, VFW, The Grudge), Clare Foley (Sinister), Spencer List (Good Trouble), Michael Park (“Stranger Things”) and Tyler Elliot Burke (The Punisher).
Rounding out the ensemble cast are Adam Weppler (Ten Minutes to Midnight), Ehad Berisha (Billions), Dan Leahy (Dave), Giselle Torres (The Big Show Show), Sienna Hubert-Ross (Almost Love), Emily Keefe (Intermedium), Erik Bloomquist (Weekenders), Madeleine Dauer (The Murder Pact), Juliana Davies (The Post), Declan Foley (My Adventures with Santa), Tess Santarsiero (Christmas on the Carousel), Cory Asinofsky, Cody Boccia, and newcomer Coulter Ibanez.
Also in theaters today, Triangle, Black Death, and The Banishing director Christopher Smith returns with Consecration, which will later arrive on Digital outlets on March 3, 2023.
Consecration stars Jena Malone (The Ruins), Danny Huston (30 Days of Night, “American Horror Story”), and Janet Suzman. Christopher Smith co-wrote the script with Laurie Cook.
In Consecration, “After the suspicious death of her brother, a priest, Grace (Jena Malone) goes to the Mount Saviour Convent in Scotland to find out what really happened. Once there, she uncovers murder, sacrilege, and a disturbing truth about her own past.”
Previously, Smith described the project as “a film about the nature of religion and how defining one thing as divine creates a false opposite that is heretical.”
He added: “This film is an opportunity to take the audience on a thrilling journey into the dark unknown, and I want to really push that to the limit both in terms of scares and the psychology of the main characters. …I want Consecration to be the scariest yet.”
Corey Deshon’s debut feature Daughter was also released today, but you’ll be able to watch it at home. From Dark Star Pictures, the film is now available on VOD platforms.
Daughter is also playing in limited theaters, if you prefer.
Casper Van Dien, Elyse Dinh, Ian Alexander and Vivien Ngô star in the pic about a young woman inducted into a bizarre family as their new surrogate daughter.

Van Dien (Starship Troopers) plays Father, Dinh (HBO’s “Watchmen”) is Mother, Alexander (“The Last of Us Part II”, “Star Trek: Discovery”, “The OA”) plays Brother, and Ngô (“Queen Sugar”) marks her first feature lead turn as the titular Daughter.
The final new release is The Unsettling from Dark Sky Films, available on VOD.
