It’s Alien Day, so for developer Refugium Games and publisher Perp Games, it’s a no brainer to drop the final trailer for their upcoming alien abduction game The Greyhill Incident. While there are sadly no Xenomorphs to be found, the game should provide plenty of screams that everyone can hear (especially with the Abducted Edition’s “Found Footage” Mode).
Inspired by ‘true incidents’, books, TV shows & films from Fire in The Sky to “The X-Files”, Communion and more, Greyhill Incident is a story-driven Survival Horror game that takes place during the early 90s in the town of Greyhill. You are Ryan Baker, and there’s an alien invasion underway. It’s up to you and your neighbours to work together to fend off the aliens from abducting everyone. That involves boarding up houses, establishing a neighbourhood watch, and using stealth tactics to navigate the town and avoid detection.
The Greyhill Incident will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on June 9th. There will also be a physical version that includes the game itself, a guide to creating a tinfoil hat, a newspaper clipping that details the first alien invasion, as well as the game’s digital soundtrack.
