Remedy Entertainment is bringing Alan Wake 2 to the Tribeca Games Festival next week with a special event. “Alan Wake 2: Building a World of Fear” will be hosted by Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass), who will sit down with Remedy Entertainment’s Sam Lake to chat about the upcoming game.
The special event kicks off on June 13 at 8 PM ET in New York, with the duo diving into Alan Wake 2‘s influences, as well as exploring what drives fear in interactive story telling. Tickets can be purchased via the Tribeca website.
Alan Wake 2 won’t be alone when it comes to the special events at Tribeca. Telltale Games’ upcoming title based on The Expanse will have its world premiere event, as well as a free hour-long discussion with the developers on Saturday, provided that you bought a ticket for the premiere event.
If that’s not enough, Hideo Kojima will also be at the Tribeca Games Festival with the premiere of the Hideo Kojima – Connecting Worlds documentary on June 17. Featuring the likes of Guillermo del Toro, Nicholas Winding Refn, Grimes, George Miller, Norman Reedus, Woodkid, and Chvrches, the documentary will “give a rare insight into Hideo Kojima’s creative process” as it looks back on the creation of his independent studio, Kojima Productions. Kojima will be doing an extended Q&A after the documentary’s premiere.
Alan Wake 2 is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via the Epic Games Store on October 17.
