With the announcement that Gun Interactive will be pulling Illfonic’s Friday The 13th: The Game from sale later this year, the developer is looking to make the most of the remaining time for fans. Per the official Twitter account for the game, Gun Interactive is giving players a boost in a new update for Friday The 13th: The Game in order to give them the most fun, while also “[reducing] the dependence on database servers”.
The next update (which arrives July 6) for Friday The 13th: The Game will include the following:
- 30 of the most popular Legendary Perks will be made available to all players, with the best roll possible and no negative effects
- All players will be leveled up to Level 150
- All unlockable kill animations will be unlocked (save for the DLC kills)
- All Challenge Skulls will be unlocked
- XP and CP earning will be eliminated (since everyone will be maxed out)
- No matchmaking functionality will be lost
And, as they previously announced, the base game and all DLC are currently enjoying a reduction in price, and will remain as such until the game is pulled from digital and physical stores. Reminder that once the game has been pulled, players will still be able to enjoy the game’s online functionality “through at least December 31, 2024”.
Currently, you can buy Friday The 13th: The Game on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch.
