AMC made two big “The Walking Dead” announcements at San Diego Comic-Con this afternoon, the first of which is that “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” is the official title of the Michonne and Rick Grimes spinoff series we had learned about a while back.
The second is that “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” the New York City-set spinoff series centered on Negan and Maggie, will be returning to AMC for a second season.
Both projects have also received official teaser trailers out of SDCC, so you can preview “The Ones Who Live” and the second season of “The Walking Dead: Dead City” below.
“The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” will debut on AMC in 2024, and you can watch first-look footage below. “Dead City” Season 2’s teaser, however, is merely an announcement.
Stay tuned for more on all things “The Walking Dead.”
And don’t forget that “Daryl Dixon” is also getting his own spinoff series this year. That series premieres on September 10, and a second season has already been announced today.
