My Bloody Valentine Figure from NECA
NECA has added another horror icon to its ultimate action figure line: My Bloody Valentine’s killer miner, Harry Warden. It costs $36.99.
The 7″ scale toy comes with a pick axe, nailer, knife, and candy box with a heart inside. It’s packaged in a window box with opening flap.
Clue will be released on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on December 12 via Shout Select. The 1985 murder-mystery comedy has been newly remastered in 4K from the original camera negative.
Jonathan Lynn (My Cousin Vinny, The Whole Nine Yards) writes and directs, based on the board game of the same name. Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Mull, Lesley Ann Warren, and Colleen Camp star.
This disc has the option to play the movie with one of three alternate endings at random, harkening back o the original theatrical release, or a “trilogy” conclusion with all three outcomes. New interviews with Lynn, associate producer Jeffrey Chernov, and film music historian Daniel Schweiger are also included.
Creature from the Black Lagoon Figure from NECA
NECA has released a black-and-white version of its Creature from the Black Lagoon ultimate action figure. The previously announced color version also just hit shelves.
Priced at $36.99, the 7″ scale figure comes with three interchangeable heads (one with an articulated jaw) and eight interchangeable hands. It’s packaged in a window box with opening flap.
Midsommar Screenplay Book from A24
A24 has released a Midsommar screenplay book for $60. Expected to ship by November 20, it’s the 10th installment in the studio’s series of 8×11 hardcover editions.
In addition to Ari Aster’s script, the 300-page book includes a foreword by filmmaker Park Chan-wook (Oldboy), film stills, an essay by anthropologist Matthew Engelke, and illustrated Hårga choral primer by vocal artist Jessika Kenney.
NECA has released a third ultimate action figure of The Thing’s MacReady for $36.99. Featuring Kurt Russell’s likeness, the 7″ scale action figure is based on the character’s last stand.
It comes with two interchangeable heads, six interchangeable hands, removable hat, Molotov cocktails that fit in a harness, revolver that fits in a holster, lantern, flare, and detonator. It’s packaged in a window box with opening flap.
