Steam Next Fest is here, and developer Dark Panda have a new demo available for their upcoming Saw-esque Survival Horror game, Psycho Fear. Like many of the demos announced today, this is a time-limited one, available from today until February 12.
The demo features both solo and co-op play, as you team up with friends or brave it alone to tackle the terror lurking in the shadows. You’ll need your wits about you to solve puzzles and uncover secrets, as well as overcome the various traps and environmental hazards.
In addition, the developers are in the process of adding a PvP mode to Psycho Fear, where the last one standing is the winner. As you might expect in this mode, you’re not just up against the game, but also other players. It’s a race against time, wits, and strategy. Trust no one, because in the end, only one can escape.
In Psycho Fear, players are trapped and must use their wits in order to escape the clutches of a twisted psychopath and survive. With a heavy emphasis on puzzle-solving, players (who can either go in solo or team up in three-player co-op) will need to explore their environment, collect items, and interact with various objects in order to find a way out of the traps.
Psycho Fear is currently set to be released on Steam in Q2 2024.
