The always entertaining Alejandro Brugués (Juan of the Dead, Nightmare Cinema, Pooka Lives!) is back with The Inheritance, a brand new horror movie from Vertical.
Originally titled The Last Will and Testament of Charles Abernathy, Vertical will release The Inheritance in select theaters and on demand July 12, and Bloody Disgusting is debuting the official trailer today. The trailer starts out conventionally enough, with an old billionaire inviting his children to his estate to let them know he doesn’t have much more time left to live.
The horror twist? SOMETHING is coming for him at midnight…
In the film, “On the eve of his 75th birthday, billionaire Charles Abernathy invites his estranged children back home out of fear that tonight someone or something is going to kill him. He puts each of their inheritances on the line, to ensure they’ll help keep him alive.”
Peyton List (School Spirits), David Walton (New Girl), Rachel Nichols (P2), Austin Stowell (A Friend Of The Family), and Bob Gunton (The Shawshank Redemption) star.
Chris LaMont and Joe Russo (Nightmare Cinema) wrote the screenplay.
