The second season of the “Daryl Dixon” spinoff series is titled “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol,” and the official trailer just premiered at Comic-Con tonight.

The season premieres September 29 on AMC and AMC+.
Additionally, we’ve learned that “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” has been renewed for a third season that will be produced and set in Spain. Production of season three will begin next month and be based in Madrid, with extensive location shooting planned in the Galicia, Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia regions.
Season 3 tracks Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) as they continue their journey towards home and the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.
But first, here’s what to expect from this year’s second season…
“The Daryl Dixon spinoff series tracks Daryl’s (Norman Reedus) journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”
Season 2 picks up where “Daryl Dixon” left off, following fan-favorite characters Daryl (Reedus) and Carol (McBride). They both confront old demons while she fights to find her friend and he struggles with his decision to stay in France, causing tension at the Nest.
Additionally, Genet (Anne Charrier)’s movement builds momentum, setting Pouvoir on a violent collision course with the Union of Hope in the fight for France’s future.
“The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol” also stars Clémence Poésy, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, Laika Blanc Francard, Charrier, Romain Levi and Eriq Ebouaney, and is executive produced by showrunner David Zabel, Scott M. Gimple, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Angela Kang, Brian Bockrath, Daniel Percival, Jason Richman and Steve Squillante.
