5 of This Week’s Coolest Horror Collectibles Including ‘Oddity’ on Blu-ray

Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products announced each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.

Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!

Vincent Price’s Witchcraft-Magic Vinyl from Real Gone Music

No one can summon spookiness quite like Vincent Price. Just in time for Halloween, his 1969 spoken word album, Witchcraft-Magic: An Adventure in Demonology, is returning to vinyl for the first time in 50 years.

Coming September 6 from Real Gone Music, the 2xLP album features the horror legend giving a tutorial on the history and practice of the black arts.

It’s pressed on clear vinyl with “Pumpkin” orange pigment swirl and is housed in a gatefold jacket with a reproduction of the original eight-page booklet.

Oddity Blu-ray from IFC

Oddity will be released on Digital on August 20 before hitting Blu-ray and DVD on October 22 via IFC Films and Shudder.

The Irish horror film is written and directed by Damian Mc Carthy (Caveat). Gwilym Lee, Carolyn Bracken, Tadhg Murphy, Caroline Menton, Jonathan French, and Steve Wall star.

Meagan Navarro’s review notes, “Oddity sets its strange murder mystery in a creepy, isolated home and employs an unsettling mascot to signal the paranormal … Mc Carthy’s latest sets itself apart with its fixation on superstition and a winsome macabre sense of humor.”

Special features include: Behind the Scenes with the Cast and Crew; Storyboard to Screen featurette; and The Making of the Wooden Mannequin gallery.

American Psycho Figure from Super 7

American Psycho’s Patrick Bateman is joining Super 7’s ReAction Figures line. Based on the iconic “Hey, Paul” scene, the 3.75″ retro-style toy has five points of articulation and comes with an axe.

Mike Sutfin illustrated the backer card art. Priced at $20, it’s expected to ship later this month.

Deep Blue Sea Poster by T. M. Wong

Celebrate 25 years of Deep Blue Sea with T.M. Wong’s artwork in the style of another ’90s aquatic classic, Free Willy.

Dubbed “The Ocean Is Haunted,” the piece was created for Gallery 1988’s 18th annual Crazy 4 Cult exhibit. 13×19 giclee prints, signed and numbered out of 10, are available for $45.

Cuckoo Resort Package from Neon

Bring your memories of Resort Alpschatten home with you in Neon’s Cuckoo resort package. Shipping at the end of the month, $25 gets you a T-shirt, a keychain, and a postcard.

In theaters now, Meagan Navarro’s review says Cuckoo is “so refreshingly unconventional and unpredictable in every way, right down to its raucous, entertainingly silly finale, that it’s hard to care about all of the plot that gets discarded along the way.”
