Way back in 2018, the team behind the fan-made horror fighting game Terrordrome: Rise of the Boogeymen had moved from using licensed horror icons (because of those pesky rights issues) to using classic monsters, urban legends and mythological creatures in the spiritual successor, Terrordrome: Reign of the Legends.
The long wait for the game is finally over tomorrow, when Reign of the Legends launches out of Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store. As such, the team has given us the honour to unveil the launch trailer for the game ahead of its release on October 17th.
In spite of being a fighting game, there is a story here with Terrordrome: Reign of the Legends. Imagine a world where every scary story told to you turned out to be true. This is the world of Terrordrome, where these monsters affect the real world unknown to humans who live their regular day to day life. Players will discover these stories in a new light with the main protagonist Alex Van Helsing as he ventures on his quest to take down Dracula once and for all.
The full game features twelve fighters to choose from, along with a variety of modes to play in. That includes the standard single player arcade mode, as well as online PvP with crossplay on Steam, and online lobbies. Terrordrome also employs rollback netcode for the online lobbies.
