New ‘Godzilla’ Movie Announced With Takashi Yamazaki Returning to Direct!

How’s this for a Halloween Hangover cure? The official Godzilla accounts on social media have announced this morning that a brand new Godzilla movie has been greenlit for production!

Takashi Yamazaki (Godzilla Minus One) will return to handle the VFX as well as write and direct the next Godzilla movie for Toho, with further updates to be announced soon.

On a related note… In celebration of Godzilla’s 70th anniversary, the critically acclaimed Godzilla Minus One will be re-released in theaters nationwide starting today, November 1.
