Paramount+ is still trying to find its groove, but at the very least has finally allowed users to add shows and films to their own personal watchlist.
After you’ve loaded up on all the horror and old-school Nickelodeon shows, you can now add John Krasinski’s thriller A Quiet Place Part II (read Meagan’s review), which was added to the streaming service late last night. Also on Digital HD, the sequel will also receive a physical release later this month.
“Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.”
Meagan said A Quiet Place Part II “makes for a satisfying, worthwhile sequel.”
In addition to A Quiet Place Part II, select upcoming films from Paramount Pictures will have their streaming debut on Paramount+, immediately following a theatrical release window of 30 – 45 days. Paramount+ is also building a robust slate of original feature-length films, including what they’re calling an “unexpected retooling” of the Paranormal Activity franchise, a prequel to Pet Sematary as well as an original supernatural story, The In Between, featuring The Conjuring‘s Joey King. 2022 should be pretty lit.
