Looking a bit like Tobe Hooper’s underrated Toolbox Murders, the upcoming Shelter in Place will be unleashing hotel horrors on the road to Halloween, Bloody Disgusting has learned.
1091 Pictures will release the horror film on VOD and Digital on September 14, 2021.
In Shelter in Place, “A honeymooning couple gets stranded at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and learns that there is more to fear than just cabin fever.”
Directed and Written by Chris Beyrooty and Connor Martin, the film stars Brendan Hines (The Tick, Lie to Me), Tatjana Marjanovic (Great White, Purgatory), Kevin Daniels (Atypical, Modern Family, The Big Leap), Ola Kaminska (The Madness Within), and Jey Reynolds.
