“I might still be a monster. But I’m an evolving monster.”
Michael C. Hall stars in Showtime‘s upcoming revival of “Dexter,” a continuation of the original series that will essentially allow Showtime to make up for the show’s original finale.
Titled “Dexter: New Blood,” the new season premieres Sunday, November 7.
“Set 10 years after Dexter went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, Dexter: New Blood finds him living under an assumed name in the fictional small town of Iron Lake, New York. Dexter may be embracing his new life, but in the wake of unexpected events in this close-knit community, his Dark Passenger inevitably beckons.”
The brand new trailer sees Dexter attempting to keep his inner beast at bay, but new threats seem to be poking the bear at every turn. And it won’t be long before he kills again…
Jennifer Carpenter and John Lithgow will reprise their roles in surprising ways, we’ve been told, with Carpenter appearing in this new trailer. Clancy Brown will serve as the season’s primary antagonist, and Jamie Chung will appear as true crime podcaster Molly Park.
Clyde Phillips is back as showrunner for the 10-episode revival.
“Dexter” ran for eight seasons between 2006 and 2013.
