Back in May, we covered Puppet Combo’s giallo-styled throwback slasher Bloodwash. Today they hit us up with news that the game will be finally be released next week!
Bloodwash will hit Steam on September 16. Developers Black Eyed Priest and Henry Hoare had released a demo last year to some positive buzz, along with extensive coverage on YouTube.
For those who walked in late, Bloodwash features that classic PS1 graphical style, and tells the story of Sara, a pregnant college student living with her alcoholic boyfriend in a run-down apartment complex. One night, the washing machine in the apartment’s basement breaks down. A neighbour tells Sara about a 24-hour laundromat on the outskirts of town, so what’s Sara to do but head over there. Unfortunately, there’s a serial killer known as the Womb Ripper, who’s been targeting pregnant women in the city.
