A24 and Chernin Entertainment (the Fear Street trilogy) are joining forces for an upcoming horror movie tilted Altar, and Variety brings us the first details this morning.
Egor Abramenko (Sputnik) will be directing the mysterious horror movie.
“While plot details are being kept close to the vest, the project is described as a horror film that follows the summer of a young boy, forced to grow up faster than he ever imagined.”
The cast includes Lily Collias (Good One), January Jones (“Mad Men”), David Krumholtz (Oppenheimer), Kyle MacLachlan (“Fallout”), and newcomer Hudson Behling.
Will Soodik (“Westworld”) wrote Altar, based on a short story by Philip Fracassi.
