Ahead of Techland’s reveal of new gameplay footage for Dying Light 2 Stay Human later this week, the company has announced that the game has gone gold for its February 4, 2022 release date. Techland will now focus on the next two months optimizing, polishing, and implementing feedback from hands-on previews for the game’s launch.
“We are very excited about this and now we can truly feel that this is actually happening! After so many years of hard work we are proudly looking forward to the release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human.” said Techland Lead Game Designer Tymon Smektała.
“The game is ready to be manufactured, but we will not slow down. The fact that the game is done and we hit the gold status two months before the release is a great sign but it doesn’t mean that our work ends here. There are still some upgrades and tweaks to add, and community feedback to implement, but the base is solid and ready to play.”
Meanwhile, the fifth episode of “Dying 2 Know”, which will reveal 15 minutes of new gameplay, will stream on Techland’s Twitch channel on December 2 at 12 PM Pacific Time. Dying Light 2 will arrive for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
