THQ Nordic has dropped a new teaser trailer for their upcoming Alone in the Dark remake which show off a little more of the horrors that await players. In this case, we get a glimpse of The Dark Man, who according to protagonist Emily Hartwood, was reportedly following her now-missing uncle. In addition, THQ Nordic also revealed the Collector’s Edition for Alone in the Dark.
It’s not clear what The Dark Man’s purpose is, or why he’s tormenting Emily’s uncle. It certainly wasn’t a factor in the original game, so this is obviously one of the changes for the remake.
What is clear is the “strictly limited” Collector’s Edition for the Alone in the Dark remake. Limited to 5000 units worldwide, pre-orders for the set are live now at Amazon for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions.
Here’s what you get in the Collector’s Edition:
- a copy of Alone in the Dark for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, or PC
- The Dark Man statue (26 centimeters / 10 inches in height)
- a glow-in-the-dark SteelBook case
- an Ostadte miniature (10 centimeters / 4 inches in height)
- the Collector’s Edition downloadable content package, which includes
- Derceto 1992 Costume Pack
- Director’s Commentary Mode
- Vintage Horror Filter Pack
- a Do Not Disturb door hanger
- the Derceto 1930 wall sticker set
