Capcom continues their anime adventures in Resident Evil 4 with another commercial. Titled “A Promise Between The Two”, Leon devotes himself to protecting Ashley after rescuing her, despite the great personal risk.
As with the previous anime commercial for Resident Evil 4, this minute-long spot is produced by Nippon Animation, creators of the popular “World Masterpiece Theater” (which inspired the animation for these commercials). It would seem Leon survived getting the axe in the first commercial, and has found Ashley. What follows is the repeated gag of Ashley being kidnapped, and Leon rushing in to rescue her, injuring himself in the process.
At least Ashley thanks Leon for his efforts.
The Resident Evil 4 remake arrives March 24 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox Series.
