Edgar Wright‘s (Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver) new psychological horror movie Last Night in Soho (read Joe’s review) opens this weekend against Antlers.
The film takes us back to London’s Soho district during the Swinging Sixties, with Thomasin McKenzie starring as a fashion designer who uncovers a murder from the past. The victim? Anya Taylor-Joy‘s Sandie, a singer from the ’60s.
In the film, “Eloise, an aspiring fashion designer, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters a dazzling wannabe singer, Sandie. But the glamour is not all it appears to be and the dreams of the past start to crack and splinter into something far darker.”
Here’s another look at the past where Anya Taylor-Joy‘s Sadie meets the owner of a club. These clips are super boring and it’s kind of shocking they’re selling this as the movie to see this Halloween weekend.
