M. Night Shyamalan‘s next is the apocalyptic horror movie Knock at the Cabin, releasing in theaters in February 2023, and he’s got another thriller on the way the following year.
THR reports that Universal Pictures has just dated M. Night Shyamalan’s post-Knock at the Cabin thriller for April 5, 2024, the mysterious project without a title at this time.
The untitled movie will be Shyamalan’s sixteenth as director, following in the wake of The Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable, The Village, The Visit, Split, and last year’s Old.
First up, here’s the plot synopsis for Knock at the Cabin…
“While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.”
Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead), Rupert Grint (“Servant”), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old), Ben Aldridge (“Pennyworth”) and Jonathan Groff (“Mindhunter”) star in Shyamalan’s Knock at the Cabin, the film opening in theaters from Universal on February 3, 2023.
