Evil Dead: The Game has proven to thus far be a big time hit for Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games, and we’ve learned that the first DLC update is on the way this summer!
Previously announced, the Army of Darkness-based “Castle Kandar” map is being added to Evil Dead: The Game, and it’s been announced today that it’ll arrive this summer.
The Army of Darkness map will be FREE to all players, and Tim Willits from Saber Interactive teases today that “additional content” is also being added within the same update.
“We plan to support this title for a long time,” Willits notes in the video below.
Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive’s Evil Dead: The Game features single-player and co-op gameplay, promising to be the ultimate Evil Dead experience in the world of video games. Several characters from the movies and TV series will be playable in the game, along with four different versions of Deadite-slaying horror hero Ash Williams.
In the game, “Work together as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, crafting, managing your fear, and finding key artifacts to seal the breach between worlds. Or take control of the powerful Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves as you seek to swallow their souls.”
We couldn’t be more thankful to our players for the successful launch of Evil Dead: The Game!
