It’s been a long time coming, but with the reveal of the final DLC for Marvel’s Midnight Suns in “Blood Storm”, Firaxis has also announced that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Midnight Suns will finally arrive later this month. Unfortunately, along with the reveals, Firaxis also announced that the Switch version of the game has been cancelled.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Marvel’s Midnight Suns will launch as digital-only releases on May 11, the same day that “Blood Storm” will be available across all platforms. All previously released DLC will also be available at launch for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Much like the previous DLC releases that saw Deadpool, Venom, and most recently Morbius, the “Blood Storm” DLC will add a new playable character to the Midnight Suns roster in X-Men member Storm. Along with Storm, there will be the requisite new story missions, a new upgrade for the Abbey, and new hero skins and outfits. The story for the DLC sees Storm in New York searching for an endangered mutant child. There, Storm meets up with Magik, who encourages her to join the Midnight Suns.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
And if for whatever reason you haven’t checked out the game, Reyna provides some good reasons as to why should.
