This year marks the 25th anniversary(!) of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” which premiered in March 1997, and we’ve learned it’s coming back to television on Fuse TV this October!
No, we’re not getting a “Buffy” reboot. Not yet, at least. For now, the original “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” series will be playing on Fuse TV this coming Halloween season.
“Buffy” will premiere on October 1st, 2022!
Next TV reports this morning, “Fuse, a Latino owned media company aimed at younger viewers, obtained rights to the series through a licensing deal with Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution that covers all seven seasons of Buffy.”
Sarah Michelle Gellar starred in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” as a young woman, destined to slay vampires, demons and other infernal creatures, who deals with her life fighting evil.
The series ran from 1997 to 2003, with 144 episodes across the show’s 7 seasons. The television series was based on the 1992 movie of the same name, Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
While “Buffy” is available to stream on Hulu currently, the show’s upcoming arrival on Fuse this Halloween will mark the first time it’s been aired on television in many years.
“In every generation, there is a chosen one…”
