Castlevania is officially returning to Netflix in a new series. Announced last year, “Castlevania: Nocturne” is coming soon, and this time around Richter Belmont is taking over from Trevor as the latest of the Belmont clan to suit up for a little vampire hunting adventure.
Netflix has announced this morning that “Castlevania: Nocturne” will premiere on September 28, 2023, with the first teaser trailer being promised for tomorrow, July 27.

Wikipedia explains, “A spin-off to the Castlevania animated series, it is based on the video game series of the same by Konami and adapted from the 1993 entry Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and its sequel Symphony of the Night.”
“Set in 1792, during the French Revolution, it follows Richter Belmont, a descendant of the Belmont family.”
The series comes from creator Clive Bradley, with Kevin Kolde serving as showrunner.
“Castlevania: Nocturne” is being produced by Project 51 Productions with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation.
Netflix’s “Castlevania” animated series ended with Season 4 back in 2021.
