This week is a big one for “Chucky,” as we’ve learned ahead of TONIGHT’S FINALE that our friend ’til the end will be back for a second season of his brand new television series in 2022.
If you’ve been unable to watch the series on SYFY or USA these last several weeks and want to play catch up, we’ve got even more good news on the “Chucky” front for you this week.
“Chucky” will begin streaming on Peacock this Wednesday, December 1!
And if you’re hungry for even more Chucky, the films Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky and Cult of Chucky are also all currently streaming on the Peacock service.
Brad Dourif is back as Chucky and Jennifer Tilly is back as Tiffany in “Chucky,” which continues the storylines from the *original* movies and their recent sequels, Curse and Cult of Chucky. Other returning stars include Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, and Christine Elise as Kyle. Devon Sawa (Final Destination, Hunter Hunter) also stars.
“Chucky” has been described as a “fresh take on the franchise” that’ll “explore Chucky’s character with a depth that is uniquely afforded by the television series format.”
In the series, “After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.”
“Chucky” is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, and executive produced by creator Don Mancini, David Kirschner, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund and Harley Peyton.
