Part two of “Chucky” Season 3 is underway, with last night’s midseason premiere kicking off Chucky’s continued bid for the White House while dealing with a new aging affliction. The midseason premiere also delivered on series creator Don Mancini’s tease of a Chucky vs M3GAN showdown, just not in the way you’d expect.
In “Death Becomes Her,” Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) wallows over his mortality, when he’s not murdering people, which includes moping about in bed or watching TV. His channel surfing leads him to a string of killer doll horror movies playing, and Chucky’s commentary on his potential rivals will leave you in stitches.
The first film Chucky flips through is 2016’s The Boy, featuring the creepy but prim doll Brahms. After a brief scene of Brahms being cared for by his mother, Chucky dismisses this particular rival with “what a fucking joke.” He clicks to the next channel to discover Dead Silence, where Chucky retorts, “And this one, can’t even get a franchise.” Finally, Chucky changes the channel once more, leading to the main event of this extended meta-joke.
He lands on M3GAN during the precise dancing scene that went viral. Naturally, Chucky is repulsed by what he sees and responds accordingly. “Oh god, no, kill me now. That little bitch. She stole my moves,” Chucky bemoans. He then flips the TV screen with the middle finger with a, “Fuck you, Ma-THREE-gan.”
Within a matter of minutes, Chucky asserts his killer doll dominance in the most hilarious way.

In Chucky’s unending thirst for power, Season 3 finds Chucky ensconced with the most powerful family in the world — America’s First Family, inside the infamous walls of the White House. How did Chucky wind up here? What in God’s name does he want? And how can Jake, Devon, and Lexy possibly get to Chucky inside the world’s most secure building, all while balancing the pressures of romantic relationships and growing up?
The returning cast includes Brad Dourif, Jennifer Tilly, and Devon Sawa, alongside Lara Jean Chorostecki, Zackary Arthur, Björgvin Arnarson, and Alyvia Alyn Lind.
Catch new episodes of Chucky on USA and SYFY every Wednesday, with the episode dropping on Peacock the next day.
