Revealed back in November last year, developer Infinity Ape Studio has dropped a new multiplayer co-op trailer for their upcoming FPS Hellbreach: Vegas. In addition, the devs have announced an exclusive closed playtest for Hellbreach: Vegas, which you can sign up for over on the game’s Steam page. If that wasn’t enough, Infinity Ape Studio will reveal an updated single-player demo for Hellbreach: Vegas during Gamescom later this week.
The new trailer showcases the relentless combat of Hellbreach: Vegas, while also showing off the gruesome enemies and cooperative gameplay you’ll need to employ in order to survive.
Meanwhile, the Hellbreach: Vegas closed playtest program on Steam is now up and running. The playtest “allows players to be among the first to experience the game, providing invaluable feedback to shape its final release.” Those who manage to join the playtest will have the opportunity to engage in the game’s brutal action, as well as test the online multiplayer wave-based mechanics.
The story for Hellbreach sees portals spawning across Las Vegas, and hordes of demons have poured out, wreaking havoc on the strip. It’s you and up to three of your fellow human survivors against a demon army, determined to invade a post-apocalyptic Earth. You’ll have to blast through waves of demons, earning experience to upgrade your guns, ammo, and unlock other bonuses along the way.
Hellbreach: Vegas is scheduled for release on PC via Steam Q4 2023.
