Previously known as Project ParadiZe, developer Eko Software has renamed their co-op open-world survival game to Welcome to ParadiZe, and announced a February 29, 2024 release on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Alongside the revamped name and release date, Eko and publisher Nacon have released a “Comeb’hack Trailer” showing off gameplay for Welcome to ParadiZe.
Touting a new genre of game, Welcome to ParadiZe sees players progress solo or with up to four players in co-op in an offbeat and story-driven open world. Players must learn how to survive by mastering a range of game mechanics such as crafting, defending camps, combat, and “zombie hacking”. The story goes that the apocalypse dropped, and thanks to billionaire genius, playboy and philanthropist Jeff Tusk, Tusk Industries’ innovative Zombot Hacking Helmet allows a person to take control of any zombie and live through the apocalypse without a worry.
All you need to do is move to ParadiZe, acquire a Tusk Industries Zombot Hacking Helmet and place it on any zombie. Obviously, it’s not that simple, as upon arriving in ParadiZe, you’ll need to deal with the environmental hazards, as well as the zombie infestation. Build your camp, set up defenses in the form of multiple traps and fortifications to repel zombies. Of course, you’ll also need to “recruit” some of those zombies to help around the camp, which players will work to upgrade to deal with further issues with the locals.
