The anthology horror series “Creepshow” returns to Shudder for its brand new third season on September 23, and new episodes will be available every Thursday on the road to Halloween.
“Based on the 1982 horror comedy classic, the anthology Creepshow returns for a third season and is still the most fun you’ll ever have being scared! A comic book comes to life in a series of vignettes, exploring terrors ranging from murder, creatures, monsters, and delusions to the supernatural and unexplainable. You never know what will be on the next page.”
Greg Nicotero is back as showrunner and executive producer of “Creepshow,” with confirmed directors for Season 3 including Rusty Cundieff (Tales from the Hood) and Mattie Do (The Long Walk). Cundieff is directing a segment called “Mums,” written by Nicotero and based on the Joe Hill short of the same name from his short story collection Full Throttle.
That segment will star Ethan Embry, and the Season 3 cast will also include Michael Rooker, James Remar, Jonathan Schaech, Reid Scott, and Hannah Fierman.
