With The Devil in Me creeping ever closer to that November 18th release date, Supermassive Games has a announced a little treat for those who have been waiting for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of the previous entries in The Dark Pictures Anthology. Yep, Man of Medan and Little Hope have been updated (for free) to allow for current-gen play, and can also now be purchased for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
The update for Man of Medan and Little Hope (which also applies to the PC versions) doesn’t just allow for play on current-gen systems, either. It also includes the following enhancements:
- New difficulty settings & QTE warnings
- Improved UI & interactions
- Updated bearing art & event triggers
- Increased walking speeds
- More accessibility options, including subtitle sizing
And as an additional bonus for Man of Medan, players can now play a previously-unseen chapter called “Flooded”, which introduces new gameplay and new deaths to the climatic ending of the game!
It’s all a nice package to tide you over until the “Season Finale” of The Dark Pictures Anthology in The Devil in Me, which will be arriving for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
