Coming to streaming this October, Bloody Disgusting is debuting the exclusive trailer for Curse of Crom: The Legend of Halloween today, a new horror movie with throwback vibes.
In Curse of Crom: The Legend of Halloween, high school teenagers accidentally unleash an ancient Irish entity on their hometown and must stop it before midnight on Halloween.
Director Rob York describes the film as “gateway horror paying homage to the style of classic 80’s movies like The Goonies, Monster Squad and Poltergeist.” He tells BD, “We wanted to capture the atmosphere and fun of the films that traumatized us as kids. Everything was done practically, using cable and rod puppets, water tank optical effects, and lots of slime.”
Check out the movie’s official trailer below, along with the awesome retro poster. The poster art was created by fan-favorite genre artist Marc Schoenbach (Sadist Art Designs)!
Stay tuned for more info including release date information.
