Shin Megami Tensei V will have Day One DLC available when the game launches next month. Altus made the reveal in a press release, as well as part of the fourth volume of its Shin Megami Tensei V News program. This also coincides with the announcement of the Digital Deluxe Edition for SMTV, which is available now for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop.
The Digital Deluxe Edition will include all of the Day One DLCs, as well as character boosts (currency, experience and rare items).
The Day One DLCs include three demon subquests (“The Rage of a Queen”, “A Goddess in Training”, and “The Doctor’s Last Wish”) and the “Return of the True Demon” subquest, in which players will be able to take on the legendary nine Fiends, including the strongest opponent of them all: the Demi-fiend from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.
Also available at launch will be the free “Safety Difficulty” and “Japanese Voices” DLCs. The “The Rage of a Queen” and “The Doctor’s Last Wish” DLCs will set you back $2.99, while the “A Goddess in Training” DLC is $4.99. The “Return of the True Demon” DLC will be $9.99.
Shin Megami Tensei V launches for the Nintendo Switch on November 12.
