Before the actor turns into Spawn, Jamie Foxx plays a vampire hunter in the new Netflix horror film Day Shift, which is currently filming for release next year.
Directing is J.J. Perry, second-unit director and stunt coordinator for The Fate of the Furious, Bloodshot and the John Wick movies, who shares a hysterical behind-the-scenes video from the shoot in which Foxx goofs off and plays around with one of the film’s nasty practical effects.
If anything, Day Shift looks like it’s going to be a bloody one!
“Day Shift sees Jamie Foxx play a hard-working, blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires as part of an international union of vampire hunters.”
Snoop Dogg (Bones, Hood of Horror) also stars with Scott Adkins (Doctor Strange, Vigilante), Dave Franco (The Rental), Meagan Good (Saw V, The Unborn), Karla Souza (Jacob’s Ladder), Eric Lange (“Lost”) and Zion Broadnax.
