Iceberg Interactive and solo developer Snail Bite revealed their real-time tactics title Dead Season back in April, with the aim to for a release later this year. That “later” comes at just the right time on October 8 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Snail Bite will also be posting an FAQ blog as part of a “pre-launch check-in” for those who have questions about the game leading up to its release.
Dead Season takes place in a world that has rapidly descended into chaos with the emergence of the walking dead. A random group of four survivors find themselves thrown together by their shared struggle for survival. You must lead these unprepared strangers as they fight to survive an infected apocalypse. Scavenge for vital resources and weapons, complete challenging objectives, and devise strategies to navigate through the undead.
Survive at all costs as you complete objectives and escape dangerous situations through 16 missions, armed with whatever weapons you scavenge along the way. You’ll also level up and unlock new abilities to survive progressively harsher environments. Face a wide variety of zombies and other hostile survivors as you traverse deeper into the world. But beware, the more noise you make, the more likely you’ll attract more unwanted attention.
