‘Deathverse: Let It Die’ Releases September 28 for PlayStation, October 5 for PC [Trailer]

After pushing the release of Deathverse: Let It Die to the Fall, Supertrick Games and publisher GungHo Online Entertainment have now announced that the free-to-play survival action game will release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 28. Meanwhile, the PC version of Deathverse: Let It Die will release on Steam on October 5. And as an exclamation point, the developer has released the launch trailer for Deathverse.

Set in the same world as GungHo Online Entertainment’s 2018 title Let It Die, but set thousands of years later, Deathverse: Let It Die takes place after a seismic natural disaster known as the Earth’s Rage. Now, several hundred years later, in order to “satiate the devastated human heart”, people have the opportunity to rise to fortune and fame in a televised bloody battle known as ‘Death Jamboree’ as a contestant.

You will join 16-player matches with your customized character and the weapon of your choice, then fight for guts and glory to be the last contestant standing on an uninhabited desert island that grows increasingly polluted due to the presence of an element known as SPLithium. Contestants must also watch out for “hunters”, malevolent hired killers whose only job is to eliminate them, as well as the savage cryptids that lurk in the battlefield.
