Michael C. Hall is back in Showtime‘s “Dexter: New Blood,” a continuation of the original series that is essentially allowing Showtime to make up for the show’s original finale.
The new season premiered just last night, and a new “sneak peek” trailer from Showtime this week previews what to expect in the coming weeks. Check it out down below…
“Set 10 years after Dexter went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, Dexter: New Blood finds him living under an assumed name in the fictional small town of Iron Lake, New York. Dexter may be embracing his new life, but in the wake of unexpected events in this close-knit community, his Dark Passenger inevitably beckons.”
Jennifer Carpenter and John Lithgow reprise their roles. Clancy Brown will serve as the season’s primary antagonist, and Jamie Chung will appear as true crime podcaster Molly Park.
Clyde Phillips is back as showrunner for the 10-episode revival.
“Dexter” ran for eight seasons between 2006 and 2013.
