When can you expect “Yellowjackets” to return to Showtime? We’ve got good news and bad news on that front. The bad news? “Yellowjackets” Season 3 isn’t expected until 2025.
The good news? As we learned last summer, a special bonus episode of “Yellowjackets” is headed our way before Season 3, so that should help tide us over until Season 3 proper!
The latest word on “Yellowjackets” Season 3 comes courtesy of Deadline today. The site notes that the season has been delayed to 2025 due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes that largely brought Hollywood to a halt this past year. But the writers room for “Yellowjackets” opened back up in September, so it’s only a matter of time before news starts trickling in.
Stay tuned for more on Season 3 as we learn it.
“Yellowjackets” Season 2 was nominated for a few big awards at this year’s Primetime Emmys, which aired just last night. Unfortunately, the show didn’t take any awards home.
“Yellowjackets” was created by Ashley Lyle & Bart Nickerson (“Narcos”), described as being “equal parts survival epic, psychological horror story and coming-of-age drama.”
