The wait is almost over for DreadXP’s Dread X Collection 5, as the developer has announced a May 3 release date on Steam for the latest horror anthology. The announcement is accompanied by a brand-new trailer, which summarizes just what you can expect with the anthology’s theme of “entertainment”.
As we’ve mentioned before, the collection consists of “12 delightfully twisted short-form nightmares” from the creators of such indie hits as 0°N 0°W, Lakeview Cabin, Sylvio, and The Mortuary Assistant.
Upon release, Dread X Collection 5 “transports players to terrifying locales like haunted nightclubs, dark carnivals, haunted puppet shows, the country Finland in the year 1888, a karaoke bar toilet, and so much more!” Each game in the collection has its unique take on what truly makes a great horror experience.
Also, if you’re keen on seeing what else DreadXP has in store, be sure to hit up PAX East later this month, as the dev will have new demos for several of their upcoming titles, including The Mortuary Assistant and Dread Delusion.
