DreadXP and company aren’t letting a good month for video games and horror go to waste. The developer has announced a “star-studded studio lineup” for The Indie Horror Game Showcase, which is set to be streamed on October 19th.
Done in partnership with prominent indie horror game curator Hürcan Köse (HorrorVisuals) and The Media Indie Exchange (aka The MIX), the showcase is packed with exciting world premiere announcements, trailers, and new updates for some of the most anticipated video games in the horror genre from the likes of Raw Fury (Post Trauma), Nightdive Studios (System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition), Ysbryd Games (World of Horror), Akupara Games (Sorry We’re Closed), Torture Star Video (Sniper Killer) and more!
Not only that, DreadXP has an extra treat during the showcase in the form of a first look premier at its video game adaptation of Shudder & Cartel’s iconic horror anthology series, Creepshow! The Creepshow video game will bring the hit series to an interactive format in 2024 across multiple platforms, featuring the talents of several renowned independent video game developers, and The Mortuary Assistant developer Brian Clarke (DarkStone Digital) acting as the game’s creative director.
Alongside Creepshow, DreadXP will also be dropping updates on their Lovecraftian dating-sim sequel Sucker for Love: Date to Die For, their cosmic horror RPG Dread Delusion, as well as unveiling four new games.
The Indie Horror Game Showcase will livestream on October 19, 2023, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET and will be co-streamed by IGN, Gamespot, The MIX (YouTube, Twitch.tv), HorrorVisuals’ YouTube, and on DreadXP’s YouTube and Steam publisher page.
